OnRoad STOCK klassi tehnilised muudatused 2008 hooajal.

Tänasel (28.10.2007) Saue võistlusel sai seda teemat arutatud ja tulemus siis selline:

STOCK klassis on alates 1 jaanuar 2008 lubatud nii LiPo akud kui brushless mootorid.

Tingimused järgnevad:

1) 13.5T brushless mootor ja 5 elemendiline NiMh aku
2) 15.5T brushless või 27T brushed mootor ja 6 elemendiline NiMh või 2 elemendiline LiPo

Ehk olemasoleva tehnikaga võib rahulikult edasi sõita. Lihtsalt järgmise uue NiMh akupaki asemele võid osta LiPo aku. Ja järgmise harjadega mootori asemel võid üle kolida harjadeta mootorile (rootor vaba).

USAs on ROAR teinud otsuse, et stock saab neil olema 17.5 keerdu:

Brushless Stock and Super Stock Motor (formerly 19T class) proposal:
Motion: Proposal submitted from manufacturer’s committee with recommended
guidelines and motor specifications for ROAR rule inclusion of brushless technology in
sanctioned racing. Items discussed as to which wind of motor in BL technology to be
accepted as an acceptable equivalent with brushed motors in racing. With the overall
agreement ROAR needs to slow down stock motor racing and find another avenue for
some racers to advance into the intermediate level of racing,

Motion passed unanimously as follows:
Stock: 17.5 brushless technologies are acceptable to compete with 27T brushed
motors. It is believed the 27T motor will have an advantage and most racers will
continue the brushed technology therefore giving the membership another year of
preparation in the gathering of BL equipment. It is also believed, the intent to
slow down stock motor racing will be accomplished with the inclusion of 17.5
brushless motors combined with 27T brushed motors.
Super Stock (formerly 19T): A minimum of 10.5 brushless technologies is
acceptable to compete with 19T brushed motors. It is the Excom’s
recommendation that club level tracks continue their programs already in place
with the inclusion of brushless technology. For Nationals in 2008, 19T brushed
motors will compete with brushless technology motors to a minimum of 10.5
winds. (ie: 13.5 is recommended with 19t in Super Stock competition and 10.5 is
allowed). 2009 will show rules of 13.5 BL only in the Super Stock class.
Action item to Technical director to email President with exact rule number
specifications for insertion into 2008 rule book.

13.5 brushless saab neil 2009'st olema ProStock, ehk praeguse 19T asendaja. Kiiruseid üritatakse uute mootorireeglitega maha tõmmata, eriti stockis.
Samuti on LiPo akud ROAR võistlustel lubatud kõigis 6-purgi klassides, kaalupiirang sellest ei muutu.
